Margaret Rhodes - Accompanist
Playing the piano started when I was 8 years old. Eight years later I started accompanying the singing at my church youth group . . . and then I played the piano for 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat’ – so the performance buzz was born! Lots of shows with lots of instrumentalists joining me in 'the pit' followed with a local and young amateur dramatic group. How great it was and still is to have a hobby that gives so much pleasure to those taking part, as well as to those who come to watch and listen. Work, time and family commitments meant less performing for a while, so I was very pleased in 2018 to be invited to accompany Quorum where I do enjoy the variety and challenge of the different music styles Marianna choses for Quorum to sing each term.
